JOIN GP - BECOME A MEMBER!

Global Partnership (GP) membership was formed as a coalition of international communities working to share information, advocate for municipalities in nuclear, and collaborate to assist our communities and other communities hosting or interested in hosting nuclear facilities. Membership allows a unique opportunity to coordinate and promote areas of cooperation, develop leading policy leadership, advise on policies and programs, and a suite of other issues.

GP membership is open to local governments, communities, regional governments, cities and counties whose local governments encompass, or are adjacent to, one or more nuclear installations or have an economy which is affected by nuclear energy.

Membership requirements:

Cities and counties and other local government units adjacent to nuclear facilities which have approved a Resolution to Join the GP, taken comparable legal action; or designated an organization with the authority to speak with a single voice on behalf of its members cities and counties.

Membership includes:

• Two voting representatives on the Board of Directors;

• Access to learn from and share information with local governments and other organizations contending with the same issues around the world; and

• Opportunities to attend GP-sponsored meetings and workshops.
